LL Cool J and Power 105.1 Team Up For 'Custom Car Show 2003'

***Event Features Two Days of Celebrity Cars & Live Performances***

NEW YORK, Aug. 28 -- Clear Channel New York's Power 105.1 (WWPR-FM), New York's New #1 for Hip Hop & R&B, is teaming up with legendary hip hop artist LL COOL J to present "Custom Car Show 2003." The event will take place October 4-5, 2003, at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, NY.

Hundreds of custom and celebrity cars will be on display from 10am-5pm each day from prominent hip hop artists including: LL Cool J, Wyclef Jean, 50 Cent, LilKim, DMX, Marley Marl, SwizzBeatz, and many more. Power 105.1's Ed Lover, Doctor Dre, Big Tigger and the rest of the on-air staff will be hosting the two day car show along with showing off their rides. Top vendors in the automotive industry will be present showing off the latest in after market accessories including rims, tires, and electronics. The two day events will also include live performances by Fat Joe & The Terror Squad, Erick Sermon, Keith Murray, Drag On and many more.

Power 105.1's DJ Kut, Kool DJ Red Alert, Tony Touch, Marley Marl, DJ Spinbad, Doctor Dre & Carl Blaze will be on hand spinning both days.

The event will also be a United States Auto sound Competition International (USACI) sanctioned event. Open Show & Shine Competition for all foreign and domestic cars, trucks, and SUV's will take place on Saturday, October 4th. The USACI Triple Point Outlaw SPL will be held Sunday October 5th.
