NAMARS schedule updates

MANSFIELD SET FOR SEPTEMBER 6;

NAMARS 500 CANCELED, GRUNDY COUNTY ADDED

Speedway, IN - 8/27/03  NAMARS will return to Mansfield Motorsports Speedway for yet a third attempt at running the Mansfield MidgetCar Classic on Saturday, September 6.  The two prior attempts to run the Event this season have been thwarted by inclimate weather   All rain checks and pit passes will be honored.  Pit gates open at 1pm, practice at 2pm, qualifying and spectator gates at 4pm, and racing at 8pm.

The 2003 NAMARS 500 has been canceled due to the inability to secure the race track on an appropriate date.  The Event has been replaced by a special Event at Grundy County Speedway on Saturday, September 20 with co-sanctioning from UMARA.  While details are still being worked out by both sanctioning organizations, this event will boast a significant puse, and a large number of feature event laps.
