With Soaring CA Gas Prices, It's Perfect Timing to Win Hybrid Vehicle; Pasadena Not-for-Profits Turn Over Keys to New Car

Wescom Credit Union's donation of the hybrid vehicle to fellow Pasadena-based and member-focused, not-for-profit, Southern California Public Radio's, KPCC 89.3 FM, Spring Pledge Drive, will be celebrated with the official awarding of the keys to the car's winner at its Pasadena Headquarters and Branch, 123 S. The celebration begins with a reception and an opportunity to meet master of ceremonies and KPCC "Morning Edition" host, Steve Julian.

Southern California Public Radio president Bill Davis and Wescom Credit Union's executive team will also be on hand for the festivities.

"As a fellow not-for-profit, membership organization, Wescom is proud to support KPCC," Wescom president and CEO, Darren Williams, said. We are happy to provide an energy efficient vehicle during these times of high gas prices and environmental concerns."

"We are honored to have Wescom Credit Union as a strategic partner," Bill Davis, president of Southern California Public Radio, the entity that operates KPCC-FM, said. "We're both non-profit, member-supported organizations that are committed to building stronger communities throughout Southern California."
