Sunoco Team Ultra 94 wins at Mosport

Press Release;

More wins for Sunoco's Team Ultra 94!
Matt Champagne and Jordy Vorrath deliver victories at Mosport

MOSPORT, ONTARIO - Sunoco's Team Ultra 94 had their third of four race
weekends in the 2003 Bridgestone/FormulaCar Magazine F2000 Racing Series at
Mosport this past weekend. The team consisting of Matt Champagne, Jordy
Vorrath and Aaron de Heus left the track with two wins, and seven podium
positions between them.

Champagne left the weekend with the points lead on the strength of a third
in Friday's race, a win on Saturday and a second on Sunday's race.
"This weekend didn't start off to well for me on Friday," Champagne said.
"But I was just trying to hold onto the championship lead going into the
final weekend. The win on Saturday and the second on Sunday really helped."

Vorrath again struggled with car problems during the weekend, and he was
frustrated he wasn't able to make a dent in Champagne's championship lead.
"Friday I took the pole and the win," Vorrath said. "But from there my
weekend went downhill. The reliability issues of the cars are really
hurting not only me, but the other drivers also. Sunday I had to use an
elective to change cars, but the second one I had wasn't any better, so I
had to settle for third."
Vorrath also finished third in his Saturday race.

De Heus had a podium - third - on Saturday, and finished fifth in his other
two races. "For me, the weekend was about my teammates. Both Jordy and Matt
really helped me all weekend. They definitely shortened my learning curve -
helping me with my driving - I owe them a ton."

Champagne is looking forward to the final weekend, and the changes that
will be made for that weekend. "They told us that all the fast guys will be
in the same group, so hopefully I can finish strong. I hope that we can
have a one-two finish in the championship for Ron [Fellows] and Sunoco.
In the championship standings - with drops - Champagne leads with 154
points. Vorrath is second at 144, and de Hues is 11th in the standings. The
final race weekend will be held on Sept. 26-28 at Mosport.

Sunoco Team Ultra 94 Quick hits;
Matt Champagne and Jordy Vorrath returned to their roots - karting - for
the Sunoco presents the GM Racing ASN Canada FIA National Karting
Championships at Mosport on Aug 17, and both competed in the headline
Formula Senior (ICC) class at the Nationals. Champagne took the pole,
Vorrath won the prefinal with Champagne second, and Champagne won the final
with Vorrath second. "It was great to come back to karting with my
Hurricane Racing team and win a Canadian National Championship," Champagne
said. "For Jordy and I to finish one-two in this Sunoco sponsored event is
kind of neat."
