COORS LIGHT TEAM FACTS:

*	Chassis: The Coors Light team will race chassis #203 at
Darlington. This is Sterling Marlin's favorite car, he has gotten a lot
of miles out of it this season. This is the same car that finished 34th
at Indianapolis, 19th and 6th at Michigan, 6th at Pocono, 39th at
Darlington and 8th at Las Vegas this season.

*	Darlington Facts: Sterling Marlin has posted three top-10
finishes, including one victory, in his last five Darlington races -
however, he finished 39th there in March due to an accident.

*	Fascinating Fact: Sterling Marlin's best finish in 2003 has been
sixth-place, which he has done four times: Bristol, Talladega, Pocono
and Michigan. Marlin has not secured a top-5 finish yet this season.

*	Darlington Raceway: This will mark the 54th running of the
Southern 500 at Darlington, a Labor Day tradition in the south since the
speedway opened in 1950. Marlin has competed in the Southern 500 since
1980.

Sterling Marlin Quotes---

What are your feelings on the last Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway?

"We run really good at Darlington, and I'd like to be the last
Southerner to win the Southern 500 on Labor Day. Hopefully we can, I
really love Darlington. It's always been a big race for me. You've got
to try to race the track. The track loses its grip a whole lot and
you've got to be easy on the accelerator up off the corners and get the
car driving good.

What is your favorite Southern 500 memory?

"When I was about 16 or 17 and in high school the race was run on
Monday's. Two or three of my buddies and I would play football on
Friday night. Then we would drive over to the track after the game.
Saturday would be practice for the race and then on Sunday the track was
closed up so we would go on over to the beach for the day. We would
come back on Monday for the race because we were out of school on
Monday.
