VIA Information Tools Use Segway Riders at AUTO-TECH 2003 to Introduce "Business Atoms," A Whole New Approach to Business

VIA Information Tools, a Rochester, Michigan software company serving the auto industry will utilize a unique form of transportation to introduce its new "Business Atoms" business approach to the Auto Industry at AUTO-TECH 2003 at Cobo Conference Center in Detroit, August 26 & 27.

VIA has arranged for six Segways(TM) -- fun, two-wheeled human transporters -- to be ridden during the conference to demonstrate its fresh approach to the way it does business.

According to Greg Delaere, CEO of VIA, "Business Atoms are a way of delivering software and services in smaller, discrete pieces. It's very simple, if you want a glass of milk you don't want to buy the cow, and the farm to get it. Business Atoms allows customers to buy just the software and services they need."

Added Delaere, "Just as Segway smashed the old mold of personal transportation, Business Atoms smashes the old software solutions mold of bundled products and services based on time and materials. They make business as agile and flexible as possible ... today and tomorrow."
