i2 Rated in U.S. Transportation Management Systems - TMS - Marketscope
DALLAS--Aug. 2, 20035, 2003--i2 Technologies, Inc. (OTC:ITWO), a leading provider of end-to-end supply chain management solutions, today announced that it received a "positive" rating in Gartner's U.S. Transportation Management Systems (TMS) Marketscope dated August 20, 2003. The report evaluated 12 TMS vendors."The transportation management system (TMS) market in the United States continues to evolve," states the report from Gartner, Inc., "Marketscope: U.S. TMS Vendors," Jeff Woods, August 20, 2003. "The vendors at the high end of the market are differentiating their offerings by supporting increasingly complex planning problems, whereas the vendors at the low end are experiencing rapid growth because of the relatively small size of the revenue base."
Gartner's TMS Marketscope ratings were based on the following criteria: Vendor Commitment to TMS, Vendor Viability, References, Operational Planning Functionality, Transportation Execution and Visibility, TMS Suite, and Adaptive Supply Chain Execution and Dynamic Logistics Network Configuration Vision.
