   WHAT:     American Suzuki welcomes the arrival of the first shipment of
             the all-new Verona midsize sedans into Jacksonville, Fla.  The
             cars are the first of nine new models to be introduced in the
             next five years as the cornerstone of Suzuki's plan to triple
             sales by 2007.

             The arrival comes after a federal court denied Daewoo Motor
             America's (DMA) request for a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO)
             seeking to prohibit GM and Suzuki from importing and
             distributing in the U.S. cars bought from GMDAT.
