James S. Harrington Elected to Aura Systems Board

EL SEGUNDO, Calif., Aug. 21, 2003 -- Aura Systems, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: AURA) today announced that James S. Harrington has been elected to the Aura Board of Directors. Mr. Harrington, 62, is a Senior Investment Banker specializing in municipal financing. During his career, Mr. Harrington has secured over $3 billion of financing for a wide range of public projects for schools, municipal facilities, transportation systems, and electrical generation facilities.

In addition to his work in investment banking, Mr. Harrington previously served as vice president and president of Affiliated Capital Markets, a division of Affiliated Banks of Colorado (now Bank One Colorado), with responsibility for the Fixed Income Capital Market Division. He was previously an Economics Professor at Benedictine College where he lectured on monetary and fiscal policy. Mr. Harrington completed a distinguished 20-year military career in the U.S. Army in 1983. He served in a variety of command and staff positions in the U.S., South Korea, and Republic of Vietnam where he received the Bronze Star with Oak Leaf Cluster while with the 101st Airborne Division. Mr. Harrington graduated from the United States Military Academy, West Point, with a BS degree and received an MS degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Southern California. In addition, he received an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University graduating Magna Cum Laude.
