Many of the participants in the final leg of the Pony Express Relay 2003 will have been on the road since July 24, traveled more than 14,000 miles on their motorcycles, and will have collectively raised more than $500,000 for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. It began in Seattle, WA on July 24 and wound its way around the country. Riders raised money to participate in the event and collected "special delivery" mail along the way, containing messages of hope for those diagnosed with breast cancer. It is the fourth national motorcycle tour to benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Funds raised from all four rides are expected to exceed $2 million.
