ExxonMobil Renews Facility Management Contract with Johnson Controls

Operational Excellence and Decreased Costs Cited As Reasons

MILWAUKEE, Aug. 20 -- ExxonMobil, an industry leader in the energy and petrochemical business, has renewed its facility management contract with Johnson Controls, Inc., a global provider of facility management solutions with more than 1.2 billion square feet under management. The renewal will provide ExxonMobil with continued cost efficiencies, guaranteed uptime for certain critical environments and continued adherence to strict safety requirements.

The five-year agreement extends the five-year working relationship between Johnson Controls and ExxonMobil at ExxonMobil's Dallas and Fairfax, Va. locations. Johnson Controls will continue to provide comprehensive facility management services for both campuses, including strategic planning, operations and maintenance, mechanical services, subcontractor management, general maintenance and support of critical environment facilities at the Dallas location. Additionally, ExxonMobil has awarded Johnson Controls a Global Enabling Agreement, which will allow the two companies to streamline the procurement and implementation of services in the future. This agreement will result in lower costs and improved operational performance for ExxonMobil.

Throughout their working relationship, Johnson Controls has been instrumental in helping ExxonMobil achieve its goal of increasing the productivity of its assets and employees. Working together, the Johnson Controls facility management team has helped ExxonMobil create improved facility performance and reduced operational costs.
