Energy & Engine Technology Corporation Announces Conference Call to Discuss Corporate Development
PLANO, Texas, Aug. 19, 2003 -- Energy & Engine Technology Corporation (BULLETIN BOARD: EENT) (EENT) announced that it has scheduled a conference call for Monday, August 25, 2003 with the broker dealer community, analysts and institutions to discuss corporate developments with the Company. Will McAndrew, EENT's CEO, said, "I am excited about the opportunity to discuss our developments with the financial community and to be able to continue dissemination of pertinent information to the investment industry."
EENT (www.eent.net ) is a Plano, TX based concern which, among other things, develops and markets auxiliary power generators for the long haul trucking industry. EENT's new product, the AXP 1000, is an idle reduction technology device designed for new installation and retrofit to semi truck tractors which provides power generation without running the truck engine. The AXP 1000 maintains battery power and powers the sleeper cab thereby reducing fuel consumption, pollution and long term truck maintenance costs.
For each 1,000 units sold, EENT generates gross revenues of approximately $5,000,000 and net revenue of approximately $1,000,000. There are over 500,000 Class 8 sleeper trucks in the U.S. today. At a sales price of $5000 per AXP 1000 unit, the industry potential is $2,500,000,000 (assuming 100% market penetration, which is not EENT's goal and EENT reserves comment on potential market penetration), and the number of new trucks entering the market has been over 80,000 per year.
