Camless Technology Update

Title: How hard do you like your drive-new camless technology

My name is Justin Geer and I have a variable valve timing solution(patent pending) for camless technology. The device is a disk splined to a shaft connected to a timed camshaft pulley, timed with an internal combustion engine crankshaft. The disk gives the "camshaft" profile with slope of the wave on the disk determining the valve opening velocity created on the disk, then the duration (maximum determined by engine characteristics) and finally the smooth seating portion of the wave on the disk to provide a soft landing. This is the fixed real time data needed for the engine computer to accurately control the camless valves. Each track would determine what valve is being read so there would be a few sensors, but most sensors such as laser or inductive sensors are inexpensive. This is both variable in duration as well as lift, with no compromises ,but within the physical limitations of the engine. RPM limit is dictated by the valves (in which Sturman Industries has a valve capa ble of supporting engines to 12,000 RPM). This is the hardware for the software that engine manufacturers have already created. This device would cost no more than $100 to build and will remove over $750 in parts. This new technology gives absolute precision in valve control. Benefits include: starterless operation. variable compression ratio, cylinder deactivation and a list of other benefits. Could possibly be the future basis for fuel injection timing as well as spark timing. Other technical issues have been addressed. My current goal is to inform manufacturers of this technology.
