correction - Orbit Racing - Mosport qualifying

correction to time differential in first paragrah

third quick

Orbit Racing will start Sunday's American Le Mans Series race from third on
the GT grid. Marc Lieb qualified the No. 43 YES Network Porsche 911 GT3 RS in
one minute 20.053 seconds on the 2.459-mile Mosport International Raceway road
course. His lap time was 0.612 seconds off the class pole position time of
1:19.441.

"Qualifying was good," Lieb said. "I'm happy with third place; just the gap
between the [pole position] Alex Job cars and us is a bit too big for me.
There was definitely more time in the car, but I had bad luck in traffic in
qualifying - I don't know what some drivers are doing out there, it's crazy! A
quick view in the mirror would help. But the car was running very, very well and
I'm optimistic for the race."

strategy switch

Peter Baron will drive the first stint in the No. 43 Porsche on Sunday,
followed by Lieb, a change of pace for the pair.

"We're changing all sorts of things and trying to get rid of all our bad
luck," Baron explained. "Now we're going to start Marc in the car first and try
to pressure the Job cars as much as we can and pull out a gap to everyone else.
Marc's much more aggressive in traffic and will work better at the start of
the race. Hopefully, I'll get in the race with a good pace going, a position
established and a good rhythm - and bring it home first."

fast waiters

A fan attending the American Le Mans Series qualifying day at Road America
next week will have a chance to win a candlelight dinner served by Orbit Racing
drivers. The dinner is a prize in the team's Victory Laps program, which
supports the Victory Junction Gang Camp for children with chronic or
life-threatening illnesses, founded by Kyle and Pattie Petty in memory of their son, Adam.
Fans can donate $5 for a chance to test their skill on the Victory Laps
slot-car track in the Orbit Racing paddock, with the fastest Saturday time winning
the dinner. The Victory Laps program is supported by Scalextric USA,
Michelin, Porsche Cars North America and the ALMS Radio Web.
