Orbit Racing - Mosport race podium

podium!

Orbit Racing finished third in the American Le Mans Series race at Mosport
International Raceway, the team's second-consecutive podium finish on the
2.459-mile road course.

Marc Lieb started the No. 43 YES Network Porsche 911 GT3 RS third on the GT
grid. He pitted during the first caution period, 25 minutes after the race
start, and handed off to Peter Baron. The team lost a lap because of its
position on track relative to the safety car and a slow fuel fill cost them a class
position. Baron lost another position when he was hit by another GT car just
past the one-hour mark of the two-hour 45-minute race. Lieb drove the final
hour of the race, moving from sixth in class to third.

It was the team's second podium finish in Le Mans racing this year, following
a second-place GT finish in the 24 Heures du Mans in June.

Peter Baron

"Mosport's been very good to us. We had a great run here last year and Marc
did an absolutely incredible job in the car today. He kept it right up there
with the leaders; he was running the race pace with them. I got in and had
bad luck with when the pace car came out and we lost a lap. Marc got most of it
back and put great pressure on the Maassen [second-place] car. A big
thank-you to Leo Hindery and the YES Network for making it possible for us to be here
- Leo is very much a part of this result."

Marc Lieb

"It was a good race. It's a shame that we lost second position in the pit
lane - something was wrong with the fueling machine and we lost 20 seconds. But
I'm happy, we had really good runs. The second run I was just qualifying out
there, I was pushing so hard. Every lap was absolutely on the limit. It's a
great result for the team, and thanks to the guys who did an awesome job all
weekend. It's not our last podium - it's the first of many."

Rodger Hawley, team owner

"It's a tremendous feeling. I have to thank the entire Orbit Racing team -
we have a real team effort here, from the guy who moves the tires to the guy
who builds the engines and the guy who puts the decals on the car. Of course,
we have two phenomenal drivers who allow us to perform on track the way we did
today. I also have to give huge appreciation to Leo Hindery. We got our
first podium here with Leo and Peter last year and we were able to do it again
today. We've been fortunate this year - we've had some knocks, but we've had
some real gifts. Today's one of the best days I've had in a long time, since Le
Mans. We're all thrilled to get through this safely and in third place."
