Zdroik Keeps On Winning:
Fourth in Hales Modifieds

    Franklin, Wis., Aug. 13--Jason Zdroik, J.J. Weickowski and Chris Baur 
were winners in the Pro Star stock car program that ran in support of the MSA 360 
sprint car special at the Hales Corners Speedway on Wednesday night.
    Zdroik took his fourth consecutive modified feature win, with Weickowski 
victorious in the Hales Whales and Baur topping the 4-cylinder Mud Puppies 
main.
    Zdroik led Mike Bodendorfer to the checkered flag in the modified main 
event, with Jimmy Muth Jr. third, Jeff Bodendorfer Jr. fourth and Jim Zdroik 
fifth.
    Weickowski held off Barry Cates and Jim Reinhardt to pick up the victory 
in the Hales Whales feature.  Fourth place went to David Paskiewicz, with Ken 
Fleury Jr. fifth.
    Baur was a winner again in the 4-cylinder Mud Puppies with a run to 
victory ahead of Chris Blake.  Pat Krimmer, Kevin Kuhnke and Eddie Lemay III were 
third through fifth, respectively.
    Racing continues at the historic third-mile oval on Saturday night, 
August 23 with a full program of UMP late model, sportsmen, modified and Hales 
Whales racing, plus the 4-cylinder Mud Puppies.  Also, a 250,000 penny pick-up for 
children is planned for intermission.  Time trials are at 6:15 p.m., with 
racing immediately following qualifying.  Hales Corners Speedway is located on
