Auto-Owners Insurance Chooses Duck Creek Solution to Support Growing Business and to Leverage the Internet

Duck Creek's EXAMPLE Platform(TM) Product Suite selected after extensive scalability and performance testing

Duck Creek Technologies, Inc., a provider of product management software and services to the insurance industry, today announced that Michigan-based Auto-Owners Insurance has selected Duck Creek's EXAMPLE Platform (EXAMPLE Author(TM), EXAMPLE Server(TM)) to replace Auto-Owners' legacy rating environment.

In addition to replacing the legacy mainframe-based rating environment, Auto-Owners Insurance was looking for a technology solution that would allow them to coexist with their other legacy systems, yet leverage the power of the Internet and provide a cost effective, easy-to-use solution for their business user community. Auto-Owners' initial implementation will utilize Duck Creek's rating and underwriting rules engine for their automobile line of business.
