Q1 Award Presented to Wagon Engineering Inc.
SOUTHFIELD, Mich.--Aug. 1, 20032, 2003--Wagon Engineering Inc. received the Ford Motor Company Q1 certification last month, July 31. Wagon was the first engineering supplier to be presented with the award under the updated 2002 Q1 quality requirements. This recognition is, however, the second presented to Wagon Engineering Inc. - the first being awarded to Wagon's manufacturing plant located in Wixom, Michigan in February 2001.A Manager of Engineering Services and US Contracts, Sylvia Ball-Flood and a Purchasing Specialist, Phil Fizzell presented the Q1 certification and flag, respectively, to Wagon after touring the supplier building and meeting the employees at the Southfield office.
Wagon CEO, Ian Charles accepted the award on behalf of Wagon Engineering Inc. "Attaining certification is just one milestone as we establish ourselves in the U.S. market as a leading automotive design and build company.
