SONOMA, Calif.--Aug. 1, 20031, 2003--NAPA AUTO PARTS has agreed to a strategic partnership to become the "Official Auto Parts Retailer of Infineon Raceway," raceway officials announced.

The three-year partnership with NAPA includes a comprehensive on-site branding platform, as well as promotional rights to one of the most well-rounded motor sports schedules in the country. Infineon Raceway, which just completed a $60 million modernization project, features everything from the NASCAR Winston Cup Series, to the 8,000-horsepower excitement of the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series.

"We look forward to working with NAPA to activate this new relationship, to sell more auto parts and to give back to the fans through creative promotions and race-day offers," said Tim Schuldt, vice president of sales and marketing at Infineon Raceway.

NAPA will also receive promotional rights to the Infineon Raceway name and logo in consumer promotions, as well as a comprehensive hospitality and signage package. NAPA will be known as the "Official Auto Parts Retailer" of the raceway for all major events.

NAPA's strength is unrivaled, with more than 6,000 NAPA AUTO PARTS stores, 65 Distribution Centers, more than 10,500 NAPA AutoCare and AutoCare Collision repair facilities, 310,000 parts in inventory every day and the convenience of 24 hour shopping with NAPAonline.
