AFL Automotive Receives Volkswagen Award

ALLEN PARK, Mich.ALLEN PARK, Mich.--Aug. 1, 20031, 2003--AFL Automotive was the recipient of the Volkswagen Group Award by Volkswagen of Mexico.

The Volkswagen Group Award, which began in 2002, is given to the top suppliers in the areas of quality, development, excellence, logistics, entrepreneurial, and environmental.

AFL received the award for logistics focused in the customer service, delivery performance, flexibility, and communications. AFL was one of only eight suppliers to receive this award in two consecutive years.

This award was presented to AFL Automotive President of the America's, William W. Collier during award ceremonies in Puebla, Mexico. He said "AFL is honored to receive the award for Logistics from Volkswagen of Mexico. Our goal is to offer distinguished performance to Volkswagen in all areas."
