Fort Knox Combining .NET, Voice Recognition to Advance e-Payment Adoption

TruePay(TM) 5.0 to give companies multiple, unified options for greater efficiency and customer service success.

ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky., Aug. 7 -- Fort Knox National Company (Fort Knox) announces the upcoming release of the company's TruePay 5.0 suite of multi-channel e-payment solutions. TruePay 5.0 combines Microsoft(R) .NET architectures, advanced telephony solutions, and Fort Knox's turnkey outsourcing services to fully integrate consumer payment origination, remittance, reporting, and support.

The new design will provide a full array of integrated channels to maximize consumer adoption of and companies' derived benefits from electronic bill payment and collections. These channels include custom Voice Response Systems (VRS), private label web technologies, ASP model software applications, and operator-assisted payment and support from Fort Knox's state-of-the-art call center operations. Each TruePay channel will seamlessly integrate with the others, as well as with companies' existing consumer telephone and web support processes.

"Significant consumer adoption is key for companies seeking to realize the efficiency, cash flow, and customer retention benefits of electronic payments," commented J. Joshua Hartlage, Chief Marketing Officer for Fort Knox National. "This solution encompasses over 18 years of best-of-breed technology and best practice processes that drive consumer e-payment volume for some of the nation's top consumer service providers."

TruePay 5.0 incorporates advanced VRS technologies including voice recognition and intelligent network routing of calls based on consumer- specific business rules, geographies, delinquency metrics, cross-sell strategies, and more. The system uses computer telephony integration (CTI) for full convergence of VRS payment data with companies' web, call center, and collections operations and applications.

The TrueView ASP module and web technology will provide CSRs, collectors, and consumers unified views of all e-payment channels, empowering all parties with full, real-time control to add, edit, or delete pending, postdated, and recurring payments. This functionality will also allow companies to monitor consumer payments made and scheduled, to track payment processing, and to assess channel performance metrics.

All TruePay technology is integrated with and backed by Fort Knox's professional operator outsourcing services, giving companies a turnkey partner to complement customer service and collections. From VRS opt-out and payment support, to custom programs for e-payment adoption and product cross-sell, Fort Knox operators serve as a private-label extension to maximize the performance of companies' existing call centers.

TruePay is also backed by end-to-end payment origination and processing services from Fort Knox National Bank (FKNB) to streamline payment research and revenue accounting. Through FKNB, TruePay allows for custom remittance formatting and scheduling to support companies' unique payment warehousing and reconciliation needs. Through its use of .NET Services and XML, the new design provides for simple integration with companies' existing accounting, servicing, collections, and letter shop systems and vendors.

"The Fort Knox National brand represents a unique combination of IT innovation, call center outsourcing, and national banking from a single trusted source," commented Hartlage. "That's why the new TruePay architecture was designed with interoperability in mind, providing a flexible technical foundation upon which companies can build and grow their e-payment enterprises."
