Take It Easy, It's Not a Rumour: Eagles and Fleetwod Mac Clones Ascending On Borton Volvo Block Party

Borton Volvo of Minneapolis to Present '7th Annual Borton Block Party' Aug. 16, 2003, Featuring Performances by Fleetwood Mac and the Eagles' Tribute Bands

  WHAT:        Borton Volvo of Minneapolis will host the "7th Annual Borton
               Block Party" featuring performances by "Rumours" and "Tequila
               Sunrise," tribute bands for Fleetwood Mac and the Eagles,
               respectively.

  WHEN:        Sat., Aug. 16, 2003. 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
               Rumours performs 5:30 p.m. - 7 p.m.
               Tequila Sunrise performs 8 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.

  WHERE:       Borton Volvo of Minneapolis, 5428 Lyndale Ave. S.

  WHY:         Among the most popular artists of the '70s, the Eagles "Hotel
               California" and Fleetwood Mac's "Rumours" albums have sold a
               combined 598 gazillion copies, according to unofficial
               estimates.  The bands' popularity continues today. The
               artists Tequila Sunrise and Rumours perform remarkably
               accurate reproductions of the Eagles and Fleetwood Mac's top
               songs, and feature costume changes to match the bands'
               various incarnations.

               Now in its seventh year the Borton Volvo Block Party hosts
               more than 5,000 area residents for an evening of music and
               other activities, including face painters, clowns, jugglers,
               palm readers, tattoo artists, a beer garden and barbecue
               provided by Famous Dave's.
