Thrifty Car Rental Offers Triple Miles on Eight Airlines; Triple Points With Hilton

TULSA, Okla., Aug. 5, 2003 -- Thrifty Car Rental, a subsidiary of Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Inc. will offer its customers triple frequent flyer miles on eight airlines from August 11, 2003 through November 14, 2003.

Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan, American Airlines AAdvantage, Continental OnePass and Delta SkyMiles members can earn triple (150 miles) their normal mileage award of 50 miles per rental day by renting through Thrifty.com.

America West FlightFund, Northwest WorldPerks, United Mileage Plus and US Airways Dividend Miles members can earn triple (750 miles) their normal mileage award of 250 miles per transaction when renting through Thrifty.com.

Hilton HHonors members will receive triple (750 points) their normal point award of 250 points when paying for their stay with a Visa card and is valid at all U.S. Hilton locations beginning August 11 and November 14, 2003.

Airline Offer Details

Miles apply to rentals picked up between August 11 and November 14, 2003. A two-day minimum is required and applies to compact cars and above. Rentals between two and seven days in length are eligible for the triple miles award. After seven days, miles will be awarded at the normal level. Offer is good for travel in the U.S., Caribbean, Latin America and Mexico.
