Entigo Announces Entigo Warranty 4.0; Offers Enhancements for Warranty Chain Collaboration

Entigo Corporation, the leading provider of warranty chain management solutions (WCM), today announced the release of Entigo Warranty(TM) 4.0, the new version of its Web-enabled warranty software. Entigo Warranty 4.0 efficiently manages the warranty chain and streamlines the warranty process, improving customer satisfaction and the bottom line.

Business and workflow capabilities allow non-technical users to design and evolve rules that automate claims processing, cutting warranty operations costs and improving recovery of warranty payments from suppliers.

The product's new capabilities leverage J2EE standards such as XML, Web Services, and the JCA framework for faster integration of warranty operations into the enterprise and beyond. A number of warranty-specific features, most notably RMA requests at time-of-claim, multiple labor rates per dealer, and an extended warranty selector, enable organizations to better recoup inventory costs, enter service information more quickly, and increase revenues and profits from warranties.

According to the AMR Research Report, May 3, 20030, 2003, most companies can generate benefits by "reducing the amount of work required to manage the warranty process and verify entitlements. Integrating the warranty process much tighter with point of warranty claim creation...can eliminate much of the waste in the back end of the process."
