TOP TRANS-AM DRIVER RUHLMAN SET TO REPEAT PODIUM AT TROIS-RIVIERES

Trois-Rivieres, Quebec (Aug 1) -- Top Trans-Am driver Randy Ruhlman opened
the weekend with a strong fourth place running in the first of two practice
sessions at the Grand Prix of Trois-Rivieres. Ruhlman held second for most
of the session behind current points leader Scott Pruett, getting picked off
in the final laps of the 30-minute practice session with a final time of
1:06.397.

Ruhlman finished second in this race last year to his Tom Gloy Racing
Corvette teammate Butch Leitzinger, and is showing that he is ready to take
the next step and get his first win at Trois-Rivieres in his familiar blue
and white Preformed Line Products Canada/Coyote Closure Chevrolet Corvette.

Ruhlman, who joined Derhaag Motorsports for the 2003 season
said, ³ The car feels good and there is more there. I think things are
going great and we were able to take the things we learned in testing last
week and apply them here. I have a lot of confidence in the car and I just
love drive at this track.²

Today the BFGoodrich Trans-Am series drivers will be on track in
three sessions, with qualifying being held today at 3:35 EDT. The 66 lap,
