TOKYO, Aug 1, 2003; Reuters is reporting that Japan's industry-wide auto sales,
including 660cc minivehicles, fell 0.5 percent in July from a
year earlier to 525,032 vehicles, industry data showed.

year-on-year percentage changes in parentheses.
