Pohanka Acura Uses Stronghold Technologies to Become the Country's Number One Acura Dealership; Dealership Ranks as Top Acura Location Three Months Straight
BASKING RIDGE, N.J.--July 31, 2003--Stronghold Technologies, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board:SGHT), the developer of DealerAdvance(TM), an enterprise software system leveraging wireless technologies for the automotive retail industry, today announced that its customer Pohanka Acura has become the nation's largest Acura dealership in terms of vehicles sold. Located in a suburb of Washington, DC, Pohanka has ranked as the largest volume Acura dealership in the country for the past three months. The dealership achieved its leading status after implementing Stronghold's DealerAdvance(TM) Sales Solution less than one year ago.Stronghold's DealerAdvance(TM) system delivers a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software application and has been designed to maximize the revenues and reduce the operating expenses of automobile dealerships. The system is designed to increase sales by effectively capturing a greater percentage of unsold customer prospects and maximizing customer "be-back" (return) and closure rates. Automobile dealership employees using the systems can access customer history and contact information, as well as a personal calendar and instructions on follow-up tasks, creating a highly effective communications tool for business development.
Prior to its use of DealerAdvance(TM), Pohanka Acura, like many of the automotive retail industry's 22,000 dealerships, had been manually collecting prospective buyer information. Since implementing DealerAdvance(TM), Pohanka Acura consistently increased its market share of new and used Acura vehicles sold.
"We signed a long term lease for Stronghold's DealerAdvance(TM) after a year and half review of competitive offerings," said Lenny Gonzales, General Manager of Pohanka Acura. "Our determination was made in large part because of Stronghold's dedication to customer support and the ease of implementing and using DealerAdvance(TM). The system has definitely made an impact on Pohanka Acura gaining market share. Considering the fragile state of the economy, our increase in vehicle sales is even more remarkable."
Noting the scalable functionality of DealerAdvance(TM), Pohanka Acura intends to double its advertising budget and begin using television as a medium to draw customers. "DealerAdvance(TM) has made it possible for our salespeople to handle more customers," added Mr. Gonzales. "Our sales consultants are empowered with automated features and a wealth of information in real-time which has helped us to improve our initial customer consultation. The follow-up sales procedures and management reports enable us to be more productive and effective in closing deals. With Stronghold as our partner, we are excited by the possibility of increasing car sales and becoming an even larger dealership."
