Federal-Mogul's Diadema, Brazil, manufacturing facility received the award honoring its 100 percent on-time delivery record and zero customer quality complaints for 2002.

Alexandre Nagle, general manager, Diadema, accepted the award from Mr. Tetsuo Uchiyama, president, Yamaha, South America, during the Yamaha Suppliers Conference.

"This is a great achievement accomplished by the entire Diadema team," Nagle said. "Even greater than the recognition is knowing that three years ago, we didn't supply any product to Yamaha and today, Yamaha is one of our major customers."

Federal-Mogul's Diadema facility manufactures headlamps and turn signals for Yamaha's YBR 125, XTZ 125 and TDM 225 urban and trail motorcycles. The facility also manufactures lighting, ignition coils and systems protection products for motorcycle and automotive industries for original equipment applications and the aftermarket. The Diadema facility employs approximately 360 people.
