Delphi Offers Independent Automotive Aftermarket e-Catalog Integration
TROY, Mich., July 29 -- Delphi Product & Service Solutions, part of Delphi Corp. , now offers its complete line of batteries, thermal components and vehicle electronics on line at http://go.delphi.com/ . To assist independent aftermarket customers in locating Delphi's OE quality replacement parts, Go Delphi, Delphi's online product portfolio, can now be integrated within Independent Automotive Aftermarket e-catalogs.
Leveraging its Original Equipment (OE) electronics expertise, Delphi has expanded its product portfolio from traditional replacement parts to include new electronics products to help meet the needs of technicians and consumers and now offers this expertise through http://go.delphi.com/ .
"Because we have a history as vehicle integrators with more than 100 years of OE experience, we understand the individual components as well as the complexity of today's vehicle systems," said Norm Young, director, North American sales, Delphi Product & Service Solutions. "As a technology leader, it is important that Delphi offer our customers our product portfolio in real time."
The Go Delphi Internet Catalog features 15,000 images loaded and linked to part numbers to verify the customer has the right part for the job, and 30,000 document links (many available in French and Spanish) tie Delphi service information to the selected parts to make sure the job is done right. These documents include Installation Instructions, Educational Materials and Diagnostics. In fact, up to 9 images per part number are taken from a technician's perspective to make sure the right part is put on the vehicle the first time.
With the new e-Catalog integration capability, users can access Delphi's OE product information, service information, and product images they need without having to leave their system. This capability is available today through Wrenchead and Delphi is working with other e-catalog companies to integrate its OE product and service information for Independent Aftermarket users. For Independent Aftermarket users that do not yet have their e-Catalog integrated with Go Delphi, the Delphi OE product and service information is available through the Go Delphi website.
