ASC Names Yost as Marketing and Communications Director

SOUTHGATE, Mich., July 28 -- ASC Incorporated, a full-service specialty-vehicle development partner for automotive manufacturers, today announced the appointment of Timothy L. Yost as director of marketing and communications.

In this role, Yost will be responsible for all of ASC's marketing communications, public relations and employee communications, reporting to Jeff Steiner, ASC's vice president of sales and marketing.

"Today's ASC is a much different company than we were just a year ago, with an influx of talent from great companies like DaimlerChrysler, General Motors, Johnson Controls, Magna Steyr and Faurecia Exhaust Systems," said Steiner. "And Tim's own background and expertise will play a significant role in helping us serve our automotive customers even better in the future."

Yost's background includes 18 years with DaimlerChrysler Corp., as well as positions at General Motors Corp. and Exide Technologies Inc. Most recently, he was a consultant with Hass MS&L Inc. He holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Michigan State University, did post-graduate work at the University of Michigan Business School and is a former freelance journalist.
