icarz Contract for CCITRIAD's AConneX License

NEWTON, N.J.--July 28, 2003--icarz, the leading software innovator in the automotive aftermarket, is pleased to announce the licensing of CCITRIAD's AConneX service. This service, in conjunction with the previously integrated CCITRIAD catalog and labor guide, will allow icarz's PartsWatch(R) system to deliver an unprecedented level of service to the automotive aftermarket.

PartsWatch is a comprehensive store management system with a simple point and click, Windows based interface that utilizes a centralized data center with real time communications through the Internet or a dedicated connection. PartsWatch, due to its unique architecture, is able to access information and conduct commerce, on demand, from remote sources and partners in real time, while maintaining the security of each individual user's data.

"The combination of the PartsWatch system functionality with the AConneX service will greatly enhance icarz's ability to provide a level of service, unmatched by anyone else in the industry because of the inherent connectivity benefits of both products," says Jesse Hermann, icarz CEO.

The PartsWatch system is a revolutionary way to do business in the Automotive Aftermarket. A key feature is the icarz ASP model, whereby icarz maintains the customers' data on secure servers. PartsWatch users no longer need worry about data backups, costly hardware and software upgrades or growing the business beyond the capabilities of their business system. Adding additional terminals or stores is as easy as purchasing new PC's and loading the PartsWatch system software onto them. The ASP model allows unlimited growth potential without expensive server upgrades.

With the addition of AConneX, the PartsWatch system will be able to connect through the Internet to other AConneX compatible systems. Since PartsWatch was designed from the ground up to utilize connectivity and modern PC's, it already delivers real savings and increases sales to all participants in the parts distribution network. These savings span the entire aftermarket, from the manufacturer through the warehouse, to the jobber store and on to the professional installer or the consumer. With the addition of the AConneX service, PartsWatch customers will have improved sourcing, ordering, and tracking from warehouses utilizing AConneX compatible systems.
