SONOMA, Calif., July 25, 2003 – 24 Hours of Le Mans GT Class winner Petersen
Motorsports/White Lightning Racing is proud to announce the addition of
executive air charter service XtraJet (www.XtraJet.com) as a corporate
partner for the 2003 and 2004 American Le Mans Series (ALMS) seasons. In
conjunction with the announcement of XtraJet, Petersen/White Lightning will
debut a test and development team effective immediately. The new team will
undertake an extensive testing schedule throughout the current ALMS season
to generate set-up data and develop chassis and engine components as well as
new driver talent. The purchase of a new Porsche 911 GT3 RS for the team’s
premiere in the 24 Hours of Le Mans made the previous entry, which finished
second in the 2003 season-opening 12 Hours of Sebring, available for this
opportunity. The team will continue to field the Michael Petersen-owned #31
Westward Ho Casino/ MMPIE/ PAWS/ XtraJet/ Justice Brothers/ Michelin Porsche
911 GT3 RS in select ALMS events with drivers Johnny Mowlem (Warfield,
England) and Craig Stanton (Long Beach, Calif.) as planned.

Petersen Motorsports/ White Lightning Racing began operation in the late
1980s competing in off-road endurance events. The duo of White and Petersen
joined to win over 50 off-road truck victories including three-consecutive
overall wins at the Baja 1000 and Baja 500 and four SCORE, SNORE and SODA
championships. Since introducing the team to sports car racing, the effort
has scored victories in the Trans-Am Series, Speed Challenge Series and
endurance sports car wins at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Watkins Glen and at
the Rolex 24 of Daytona.
