 SHOWDOWN AT THE PRAIRIE MOVED TO JULY 27;
milwaukee cup added on july 25

Sun Prairie, WI - Angell Park Officials have moved the rescheduled "Coca-Cola Showdown at the Prairie" to Sunday, July 27.  This premier twin-25 lap event will now run in conjunction with the 6th Annual "Milwaukee Cup" at Hales Corners Speedway in Franklin, WI on Friday, July 25 which will also be co-sanctioned by NAMARS and become part of the 2003 Championship MidgetCar Series schedule.

WINCHESTER SPEEDWAY ANNOUNCES OPEN TESTING ON AUGUST 1ST

Winchester Speedway Officials will open the "World's Fastest Half-Mile" on Friday, August 1st to all competitors for open testing, providing an excellent opportunity for all teams to acquire valuable seat time in preparation for the "Winchester MidgetCar Classic" on Sunday August 17.  Gates will open at 3:00pm, with testing from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.  Pit passes are only $20.00 per person.  Testing is open to all motorsports competitors without regard to division, sanction, or affiliation.

MANSFIELD POSTPONED TO AUGUST 16

Mansfield, OH July 7---Heavy rains and damaging winds forced Mansfield Motorsports Speedway Officials to postpone the July 4th NAMARS Championship MidgetCar Series and Formula Lightning Series event to Saturday, August 16th.  The Event will move to the same weekend as the "Winchester MidgetCar Classic" on Sunday, August 17, producing an exciting "Half-Mile Challenge" for NAMARS participants and race fans.  Race fans that wish to attend both "Half-Mile Challenge" events will receive a $5.00 discount for the Winchester event by simply showing their Mansfield ticket stub.
