Alpine Delivers the Ultimate in Mobile Sound System Fidelity
- Completes Car Audio Industry's Benchmark Performance System With New AlpineF#1Status Amplifier and Speakers -
TORRANCE, Calif., July 15 -- Alpine Electronics of America, Inc., the industry-leading manufacturer of high performance mobile electronics, today announced that it has completed delivery of a full AlpineF#1Status(TM) benchmark car audio system with the addition of an ultimate fidelity four-channel amplifier, and three-way component and two-way single speaker systems. AlpineF#1Status products have been recognized worldwide as delivering the absolute best sound quality by overcoming the unique problems of in-car sound reproduction with precision sound field adjustment, sound image contouring and acoustical correction. The new AlpineF#1Status speakers and amplifiers are available now through approximately 80 exclusive, highly certified dealers in the U.S. and Canada.
For all AlpineF#1Status products, Alpine engineers dedicate themselves to a philosophy of creating unmatched sound quality through precision engineering that addresses the particular challenges of the in-car sound environment. The technical development and detail-oriented research for these ultra premium products, named "Micro Dynamics(TM)," has established a new platform for all of Alpine's engineering standards.
Joining the AlpineF#1Status family this year is its CES Innovations Award-winning SPX-Z18T 3-way component speaker system (target retail price $3,500) and SPX-Z15M single channel 2-way speaker system (target retail price $1,500). Technological advancements for these speaker systems include the car audio industry's first "ring radiator" tweeter design and a complex, yet flexible crossover network with over 1,000 tuning combinations with the SPX-Z18T and more than 500 with the SPX-Z15M.
Alpine's $3,500 MRV-F900 four-channel amplifier brings a combination of advanced technology and ultra high-fidelity power to the AlpineF#1Status line. The MRV-F900 was engineered with a high efficiency true double stage power supply and two 70mm Toroidal Transformers delivering a highly stable power supply. A six-layer PCB design delivers the purest signal possible and use of the industry's largest triple Darlington Bi-Polar Transistors ensures the most accurate reproduction of music possible.
"We are thrilled that we can now offer an entire AlpineF#1Status car audio system to those highly discerning customers who want the absolute best mobile sound experience possible," said Steve Witt, Alpine's vice president of Brand Marketing. "Bringing this caliber of mobile audio product to market is a huge achievement for Alpine. This is the system that sets the benchmark for the entire industry."
The dedication and attention to detail bestowed upon the AlpineF#1Status products is not lost among the rest of Alpine's 2003 product lineup. While AlpineF#1Status represents the pinnacle of product performance for the company, audio enthusiasts will see this design methodology reflected in product cosmetics and internal circuit board design in many of Alpine's more mainstream products.
AlpineF#1Status products are sold only through a select group of certified Alpine dealers, all of whom have attended a two-day education session to learn about the products, their capabilities and their detailed installation requirements.
