New substance stores 3 times more hydrogen
HIROSHIMA July 13, 2003; Japan Today reported that Japanese scientists have developed a new substance capable of storing three times more hydrogen than an existing alloy, Hiroshima University researchers said Saturday.
Members of a university research group led by Hironobu Fujii, a professor of material science, said the achievement is expected to be useful in developing fuel cell-powered vehicles. (Kyodo News)
