BACKGROUND:

On Saturday, ten members of the Racing Wives' Auxiliary (RWA) will compete in the 2003 Tropicana Pure Premium Pedal Pusher 400 to raise $35,000 for the RWA Charity Fund.

The wives participating include Debbie Benson, Kim Burton, Cindy Elliott, Andrea Nemechek, Martha Nemechek, Anne Schrader and Rhonda Sprague. The women will set out to pedal cars on a miniature track outside the third-annual Tropicana 400.

In addition to raising money for charity, the winner will also receive an additional $10,000 for the fund and a beautiful Tiffany's crystal trophy.
