Terry Borcheller - Daytona preview

midnight ride

Terry Borcheller is ready for a late-night Rolex Sports Car Series race at
Daytona International Speedway. The Paul Revere 250 is set to follow NASCAR
Winston Cup qualifying on July 3, part of the U.S. Fourth of July celebration in
Daytona Beach, Fla.

Borcheller, of Phoenix, and Forest Barber of Fort Worth, Tex., will race the
No. 54 Bell Motorsports Doran JE4 in the two-hour 45-minute race, scheduled to
start at 11 pm on the 3.56-mile Daytona infield road course. In a change
from the team's usual strategy, Barber will qualify and start the race, and
Borcheller will drive the final stint.

"The championship points chase has tightened nicely, and we're looking
forward to maintaining our moment from Mid-Ohio [Sports Car Course]," Borcheller
said, referring to the pair's two victories last weekend. "We were fastest in
the night practice here, which is closest to race conditions, so we're looking
forward to a great race."

full house

"We'll race directly after Winston Cup qualifying, which means the
grandstands will be full," Borcheller noted. "It's usually a packed house. That's very
exciting, not just for the competitors, but also for our sponsors."

His sponsors include K&N Performance Filters, Infinity2 Nutrition, Dark Dog,
Alpinestars, Bell Helmets, Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving,
Gatorz Eyewear and Goodyear.
