Cummins Inc. Ranked As One of 50 Best Companies For Minorities
COLUMBUS, Ind--July 3, 2003--Cummins Inc. announced today that it has been included in Fortune magazine's annual ranking of the Top 50 Companies for Minorities. The ranking placed Cummins at number 43. This is the second time in three years that Cummins has been recognized as one of the top companies for minorities."We are very pleased to be included in this ranking by Fortune magazine," said Tim Solso, Cummins Chairman and CEO. "We have worked hard to foster an environment that is inclusive of all groups and embraces diversity at all levels of the organization."
Cummins is committed to a diverse work force to remain competitive in a global and diverse market. These Local Diversity Councils or LDCs are involved in awareness initiatives within the Company and their communities.
