Gary Baum Joins NuCORE Technology as Senior VP of Marketing to Drive NuCORE's CleanCapture Image Processor Marketing

    SUNNYVALE, Calif.--July 1, 2003--NuCORE Technology today named Gary Baum Senior Vice President of Marketing. In this position, Baum is responsible for establishing the CleanCapture(TM) brand as the industry's premiere digital image processor for still and video cameras.
    Baum is a veteran semiconductor industry executive who has spent the last 22 years in various senior sales and marketing jobs at Intel, S3, Chip and Technologies and Advanced Micro Devices.
    Most recently as Director at AMD, he was widely credited with creating AMD's mobile processor business and driving revenues from $0 to $350M annually. Baum has deep experience in product definition; he led the Intel 80386 field product planning committee and design win programs in the Intel Crush campaigns. He was also instrumental in the S3 Windows Accelerator Graphics definition and has worked in the embedded processor space, creating one of the first SOC components in the industry.
    On May 14th 2003, NuCORE launched its CleanCapture(TM) Image Processors for digital still and digital video cameras. At the press event in Tokyo, NuCORE demonstrated the lowest noise, highest quality and highest performance image processors in the industry. Working as a consultant for NuCORE, Baum contributed to the positioning and execution of the very successful launch of the new products.
