WIX Filtration Products and NTZ Join Forces To Offer Bypass Micro Filtration Systems for Fluid Applications
INKSTER, Mich., June 30 -- WIX Filtration Products group of Dana Corporation and NTZ Micro Filtration, Inc., announce a strategic alliance for sale and distribution of the NTZ Bypass Micro Filtration System.
Through this alliance, the complete line of NTZ Bypass Micro Filters and replacement cartridges will be available throughout the WIX distribution network, including Parts Plus, Auto Value, All Pro, Bumper to Bumper, IAPA, NAPA and CARQUEST outlets.
The patented technology of NTZ provides ultra high efficiency filtration of lube oil. NTZ Micro Filters are used in conjunction with the standard lube filtration system for any engine, transmission or hydraulic system.
Benefits of using the NTZ system on engines include longer time to overhaul, decreased fuel and oil consumption and the safe extension of drain intervals. Use on automatic transmissions results in peak transmission performance, longer transmission lifetime and extended fluid lifetime.
"NTZ's expertise is in small particle control using bypass filtration. This, combined with the experience, technical knowledge and dedication of the WIX team with respect to full-flow filtration systems, will provide the ultimate advantage to the consumer, said NTZ Sales Manager for North America, Kirk Ciak. "This will result in full-time engine protection and long-term savings."
"The possibilities are quite exciting for this alliance as WIX has recognized the need for fine filtration products and extended drain intervals in this market," said Jose Escandon, WIX product development manager.
Future developments are also being discussed regarding further integration of the systems for engines and transmissions.
