             Peter Cozzolino Wins First ASA Event at IRP

Clermont, Ind. (June 28, 2003) – 1998 ASA Rookie runner-up Peter Cozzolino
won  The  Club  200  Presented by BFGoodrich Tires at Indianapolis Raceway
Park,  the  ninth  event  of  the  2003  ASA  Racing  Series  season.  Cozzolino  of
Indianapolis charged into first position on the 146th lap after passing Rick Beebe.
Then  Cozzolino  powered  to  his  first  career  victory  in  the  series  that  builds
champions.

Atlanta’s  Mike  Garvey  finished  in  second  spot  with  three-time  ASA  Champion
Butch  Miller  finishing  third.  $50,000  Rookie  Candidate  Boris  Jurkovic  scored  a
career  best  fourth-place  finish  with  Georgia  racer  Reed  Sorenson  in  fifth.
Current  point’s  leader  Kevin  Cywinski  grabbed  sixth-place  honors  with  Scott
Lagasse  Jr.,  Rick  Beebe,  Kris  Stump  and  Chad  Wood  filling  out  the  top-10
finishers.

Drivers  from  the  Hoosier  State  that  competed  in  The  Club  200  Presented  by
BFGoodrich Tires included event winner Cozzolino, Greg Williams of Haubstadt
in 20th and Brent Downey of Avon in 23rd.
