Garvey to Drive for Jani-King Through 2004 Season
Dallas, Texas (June 26, 2003) - Jani-King, the world’s largest commercial cleaning
franchise company, is thrilled to announce a new partnership with WJP Motorsports, Inc.
and Mike Garvey for the remainder of the 2003 American Speed Association (ASA)
Racing Series season and the entire 2004 ASA Racing Series season. Garvey, who has
won three of eight races this season, will sport the Jani-King colors beginning with the
Saturday, June 28 The Club 200 presented by BFGoodrich Tires at Indianapolis
Raceway Park.
Garvey has recorded 16 victories over the course of his ASA career, the most recent at
I-70 Speedway on June 14th, 2003. Garvey has also scored 13 poles and 77 top-10
finishes. Currently, Garvey is ranked fourth in overall championship points.
In addition, Bill Plemons, president of WJP Motorsports, Inc, will also drive for Jani-King
in selected ASA races through the 2003 and 2004 racing seasons including this
weekend’s event at Indianapolis Raceway Park.

Making this annual stop at the state-of-the-art Indianapolis Raceway Park, the ASA
Racing Series marks the first of three stops in the Hoosier State this season and the
24th event at IRP, a premier .686-mile oval racing facility.
The first of two practice sessions begins at noon. Pole qualifying is set for 4 p.m. with a
fan autograph session and musical group One 5 Oh to follow. The Club 200 Presented
by BFGoodrich Tires goes green at 8 p.m. (Local)
