New Delo Truck Exhibit Enters Fifth Year of Service With New Tractor and Graphics

LAS VEGAS--June 26, 2003--ChevronTexaco Global Lubricants (CTGL), a leading provider of heavy-duty engine oils, lubricants and coolants, today announced that its Delo(R) Truck has entered its fifth year of service with the rollout of new graphics and a new Kenworth tractor. The Delo Truck serves as a rolling exhibit, designed to educate the transportation industry on the importance and proper use of heavy-duty engine oils, lubricants and coolants in an effort to enhance fleet reliability, reduce operating expenses and improve the bottom line.
The new Delo Truck, which will make its debut at the International Truck Show (ITS) in Las Vegas, June 26-28, will feature a 2004 Kenworth W900L tractor with a Cummins ISX Engine with Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR). This 525hp Kenworth tractor will be pulling a redesigned trailer that includes eye-catching graphics and houses nine educational stations and a conference room.
From a tutorial on lubrication manufacturing to a cutaway of an EGR engine, the Delo Truck provides displays and interactive demonstrations that educate the public on the history and value of Delo products. The transmission station provides insight into critical points of lubrication while allowing the public to test its gear shifting abilities. Other interactive displays show the impact of soot on diesel engines and how new engine specifications require changes in lubricant technology.
Delo 400 Multigrade heavy-duty engine oil, Delo Trans Fluid ESI(R) transmission fluid, Delo Gear ESI(R) gear oil, Delo grease and Delo Extended Life coolants are all highlighted in the mobile exhibit.
"The Delo Truck has been our ambassador to the transportation industry for the last four years," said Gary Parsons, commercial automotive manager, ChevronTexaco Global Lubricants. "It has a proven ability to deliver valuable market education and information on the full line of Delo products in a way that is both informative and entertaining. The redesign and beginning of our fifth year of service stand as a testament to our commitment to market education."

    Delo Lubricants

Delo(R) 400 Multigrade heavy-duty motor oil is an industry-leading, premium-quality, "universal" engine oil that exceeds the performance requirements of naturally aspirated, turbocharged and supercharged diesel and gasoline engines. It provides outstanding protection in existing and new engines, using low or normal sulfur fuels. It provides excellent soot dispersancy, wear protection and sludge control to guard against loss of engine life and to help reduce fuel and oil consumption. Delo(R) Gear Lubricant ESI and Delo(R) Trans Fluid ESI are the first non-synthetic fluids approved by Eaton for their 750,000 extended warranty program. Delo also offers Delo(R) Grease EP, Delo(R) Synthetic Grease SF and Delo(TM) Extended Life Coolant/AntiFreeze (Delo ELC) to round out its complete line of premium heavy-duty lubricants.
The Chevron Delo product line is the only brand to receive the Lubricants World Product of the Year Award for two consecutive years, 1999 and 2000, and the Annual Automotive Product Award in 2001. Jim McGeehan, global manager of engine oil technology for ChevronTexaco Global Lubricants, also received Lubricants World's 2002 Person of the Year recognition.
