Jiffy Lube(R) Introduces New Trip Planner; Online Service Helps Prepare for Increase in Summer Road Travel

HOUSTON, June 24 -- Jiffy Lube International today launched Jiffy Lube(R) Trip Tools, an online aid to help vacationers make the most of their time on the road.

Jiffy Lube(R) Trip Tools are available free at www.jiffylube.com and offer suggestions for thousands of hotels, B&Bs, campgrounds, restaurants, outlet malls, antique shops, museums, movie theaters, and recreation facilities across the country. Users can map out a complete itinerary with estimated travel times and directions to accommodations and attractions along their route.

Jiffy Lube(R) Trip Tools are introduced at a time when there is greater interest in road travel. The Travel Industry Association of America reports it will continue to be stronger than air travel, up more than two percent over last summer. The organization also says trips with children will be more popular this summer with 43 percent of travelers taking kids on their longest trip compared with 31 percent in 2002.
