MOTHER NATURE CLAIMS NAOTHER SATURDAY NIGHT WEST LEBANON,
NY
WEST LEBANON, NY - Mother Nature made her nasty self present for the fourth
Saturday out of five and claimed the racing program at Lebanon Valley Speedway.
This season has been a struggle to say the least with so much bad weather on
Saturdays.
G. E. Plastics and Bilinski Sausage Company were set to sponsor the evening's
events. The race teams had made their way into the pit area and were getting
ready for what hoped to be another great night of championship stock car
racing. The rains began around 4:30pm and soaked the high banks forcing the
speedway management to pull the plug.
Racing will resume Tuesday June 24th as CARQUEST Auto Parts and Heavy Haulers
present the "Eve of Destruction III". Gates open at 5pm with the preliminary
racing events at 6pm and the FUN starts at 7pm. Great seats are still
available and adult general admission is just $12 with kids under 12 just $5.
Our big Independence Day Celebration will take place next Saturday June 28th.
St. Lawrence Cement and Capital Tractor will present this Spectacular evening
of great racing and FIREWORKS! Gates open at 5pm with racing at 6pm. Adult
general admission is $10 with kids under 12 just $2.
You can find more information about these events and the entire 2003 racing
