Dieter Zetsche and Chrysler Group Honored For Diversity By Savoy Professional Magazine

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., June 19 -- Dieter Zetsche, Chrysler Group President and CEO, received the "From the Top" award from Savoy Professional Magazine on Wednesday, June 18 at the third annual Savoy Professional Diversity Summit at the Townsend (Birmingham, Mich.) Hotel. The Chrysler Group also received the "Automotive Initiatives" award during the program's Excellence in Diversity Awards banquet. The one-day conference was attended by some of the nation's top diversity, marketing and human resource executives.

The "From the Top" award is given to the corporate CEO that best demonstrates and implements effective diversity programs inside and outside of the Company. The "Automotive Initiatives" award recognizes a company for its overall commitment to diversity through the support of internal and external diversity programs. This includes minority dealership development, diversity supplier development and multicultural marketing.
