CORVETTE, TWO CLASSIC CAR SHOWS TO HIGHLIGHT
SPRINT VINTAGE GRAND PRIX

DUBLIN, Ohio (June 18, 2003) - The Sprint Vintage Grand Prix, June 20-22, at
Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio, showcases vintage racecars
and historic racing action. However, event veterans know that off-track
there is plenty for classic car enthusiasts to do and see throughout the
weekend.

On Saturday, June 21, the Fifth Annual British Car Showdown takes place in
the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course infield. Aston Martin, Jaguar, Lotus, MG,
Rolls Royce, Triumph and many other cars from across the pond will be on
display during the popular vote car show. Awards given out during the show
will include "Best in Class", "Most Modest (Beater)", and "Best of Show".

Mid-Ohio's Concours d'Elegance highlights the day's activities on Sunday,
June 22. While the featured marque of the 2003 Sprint Vintage Grand Prix is
the Chevrolet Corvette, the Concours is open to all makes and models of
cars. "People's Choice", "Judges' Choice", "Best Corvette", "Most Miles
Driven", and "Largest Club Participation" are among the awards to be
presented.

Participants in either show will be eligible to take place in a parade lap
around Mid-Ohio's 15-turn, 2.4-mile road course during the lunchtime break
on the appropriate day. To register for either the British Car Showdown or
the Concours d'Elegance, participants can simply sign-up in the infield of
Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course prior to 10:30 on the appropriate morning. Cost
for either car show is included in the price of a general admission ticket.
Each car entered will also receive a commemorative mug to celebrate the
weekend.

Also on Sunday, the Corvette 50th Anniversary Enthusiasts Challenge will be
on display on Championship Row. The event will celebrate 50 years of
Corvette with a timeline composed entirely of Corvettes owned by Mid-Ohio
spectators.

More information on any of these off-track events is available by calling
1-800-MID-OHIO or by visiting www.midohio.com.

Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course is located approximately halfway between Columbus
and Cleveland, off Interstate 71. Commonly referred to as the "Most
Competitive in the U.S.," Mid-Ohio hosts six motorsports events throughout

Honda Super Cycle Weekend presented by Dunlop Tire, July 25-27, and the
