SHANE LEWIS CONTINUES WHIRLWIND TOUR WITH MINI AT THE GLEN

JUPITER, Fla., June 18, 2003 - Shane Lewis, fresh from leading the GT
class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans for ACEMCO Motorsports, continues his
busy schedule at Watkins Glen International this weekend. The Grand-Am
Cup's "The Glen Sport Touring 250" marks the seventh stop in a streak of
eight racing events dating back to April for the Jupiter, Florida
resident. Lewis will drive the #20 Lava Records/ Nuzzo Motorsports Mini
Cooper S for Tony Nuzzo in the Sport Touring One (ST I) class on Friday,
June 20. 

Lewis has been in a race car testing or competing nearly every week
since April 13, where he led each practice session in ST I at
Homestead-Miami Speedway. The non-stop schedule will continue though the
end of June. This hectic schedule, which does not include his regular
instruction for the Justin Bell Racing School or private instruction,
included two round-trips across the Atlantic, racing the Nuzzo Mini at
Miami and Barber Motorsports Park, racing the Chevy-Spice GTP car in a
historics' event, testing the ACEMCO Ferrari 360 GT at Le Mans and Road
Atlanta, the 24 Hours of Le Mans where Lewis lead the class at the
race's midpoint, this weekend's race in up-state New York and will
culminate with the second round of the American Le Mans Series (ALMS) at
Road Atlanta the last weekend of June. Lewis will then take a well
deserved break to celebrate Independence Day with his family and friends
at home. 

"It has been crazy, but I love it. I wouldn't change a thing. I don't
feel like I've been home since March and, I guess, I really haven't
been. I'll have to rent a bulldozer to get passed the mail piled-up at
the shop," laughed Lewis moments after returning from Le Mans while
preparing to board a plane for New York. "It's well worth it though. We
haven't been able to take the checkered flag first in any of these races
but we have been right there in nearly every one of them. I've been at
the top of an awful lot of speed charts and led a lot of races this
season. We just need to add another victory or two in the Grand-Am Cup
and ALMS. Both the Nuzzo Mini Cooper S and the ACEMCO Ferrari 360 are
awesome cars but they are also both new. We are going through some
teething issues right now. We'll get them sorted out and then we'll be
able to really get the job done. I'm hoping we get it all turned around
this weekend at Watkins Glen. This is the hometown race for Nuzzo
Motorsports and I'd love to help give Tony his first professional race
win in front of his family and friends."

Shane Lewis is the 1998 Professional Sports Car Racing Rising Star award
winner and is a multiple race winner in IMSA, SCCA Pro and Grand-Am
sanctioned events. He has raced in six 24 Hours of Daytona, six 12 Hours
of Sebring, three 24 Hours of Le Mans and four Petit Le Mans. Lewis, a
regular top-five finisher in ALMS competition, has earned ALMS podium
finishes at Silverstone, the Nurburgring and Portland and is one of the
few drivers with experience in the four major classes of international
sports car racing (LM P 900, LM P 675, LM GTS and LM GT). In 2003, Lewis
is a fulltime driver for ACEMCO Motorsports in the ALMS and lead driver
for the Nuzzo Motorsports Mini Cooper S in Grand-Am Cup.
