INCAT(R) Will Organize, Launch the All New Motor City Autodesk Inventor(R) User Group

Aims to help mechanical designers and manufacturers share ideas and innovations to enhance productivity with Autodesk solutions

NOVI, Mich., June 16 -- INCAT(R) will sponsor the launch of the Motor City Autodesk Inventor(R) User Group at a special event at its Novi, Mich., headquarters on Tuesday, June 24.

"This is something we considered for more than two years," said Dan Saperstein, INCAT GMB Sales Manager. "The decision to organize the Motor City Autodesk Inventor User Group was made in April. It's much needed, and we're looking forward to its launch next week.

"This initiative will provide a forum for users of Autodesk solutions located in the metro Detroit area the opportunity to gather quarterly to share knowledge and information in a relaxed, member-driven atmosphere," Saperstein added.

Saperstein noted that while INCAT will sponsor the launch of the group, members will develop and guide the group independently. Quarterly meetings will offer featured speakers, product demonstrations and open discussions.

The decision to launch the Motor City Autodesk Inventor User Group was made after INCAT consulted with Autodesk Inc. and the Autodesk User Group International (AUGI). It will be one of only three such groups in the Midwest and one of fewer than a dozen such groups nationwide.

The inaugural meeting will take place on Tuesday, June 24 at 6 p.m. at the INCAT North American Headquarters in Novi, Mich. It will include pizza, member networking and a presentation by Dan Miles, INCAT Autodesk Solutions Architect. Miles has more than a decade of experience with Autodesk mechanical products and is the 2002 winner of the Autodesk Inventor Channel Excellence (ICE) Award, recognizing him as the top product knowledge and technical expert in the country.
