1965 Ford Mustang #1 Rides Again! Greenfield Village Celebrates 100 Years of Ford During June 14-15 Motor Muster Car Show

For the first time since 1966, Ford Mustang Serial #1 will be running in the streets of Greenfield Village. On display in Henry Ford Museum since the early 1980s, the car has been put back into running condition for the annual Motor Muster in Greenfield Village. See the Wimbledon White convertible among other leading vehicles on Saturday, June 14 and Sunday, June 15. The event will bring more than 600 automobiles, racecars, motorcycles and bicycles from 1933 to 1973 to the Village during the Father's Day weekend.

The theme for this year's Muster is "From A to T and Beyond: Greenfield Village Celebrates the Ford Motor Company Centennial." Featured vehicles for this special exhibit include the 1965 Ford Mustang Serial #1 described above, a 1905 Ford Model B, the only running example of its kind in existence and a rare replica of Henry Ford's first vehicle, the 1896 Quadricycle. What makes this unique is that all the cars at this show run and take part in pass and review parades.
